Melon with Port Wine

Ingredients

1 melon

2 soupspoons port wine

salt

white pepper

mint leaves

 

Preparation

1. Cut the melon with a serrated decorating knife;

2. Remove the seeds with a spoon, leaving the pulp very clean;

3. Using a melon scoop make balls with one half of the melon;

4. Season the melon balls with salt and pepper;

5. Fill the other half of the melon with the seasoned balls and liberally sprinkle with port;

6. Place in the refrigerator until it is time to serve. Decorate with mint leaves.
